New York High School Basketball - Summit Academy nudges Poly Prep Country Day

January 15, 2024: Brooklyn, NY 11228

Summit Academy Eagles (Brooklyn, NY) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Poly Prep Country Day Blue Devils (Brooklyn, NY), 46-42 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Summit Academy upgrades its record to 15-3 on the season. The Eagles host Bedford Academy (Brooklyn, NY) to clash with the in a PSAL A Brooklyn bout on Thursday, January 18. The go into the bout with a record of 6-2.

Next up, the Blue Devils clash with the Horace Mann Lions (Riverdale, NY) in a Ivy Prep bout, on Wednesday, January 17. Poly Prep Country Day will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 56-22 league loss to Fieldston (Bronx, NY).
