The Rock Hill Redmen (Ironton, OH) basketball felled the visiting Vinton County Vikings (McArthur, OH), 52-41 in Monday's non-league test.
The Redmen (5-10) will now prepare for their test against Fairland (Proctorville, OH). The Dragons go into the Ohio Valley test with a 13-1 record. In their last test, Fairland thwarted Gilmour Academy (Gates Mills, OH), 58-45, in a non-league test.
The Vikings now own a 5-9 record. They play next when they travel to Nelsonville-York for a Tri-Valley - Ohio test on Thursday, January 18. Vinton County will encounter a Buckeyes squad coming off a 74-43 non-league loss to Warren (Vincent, OH). The Buckeyes record now stands at 8-6.
