The St. Joseph-Ogden Spartans (St. Joseph, IL) basketball crushed the host St. Thomas More Sabers (Champaign, IL), 44-19 in Monday's league test.
The Spartans (11-8) will now prepare for their test against Monticello (Monticello, IL). The Sages go into the Illini Prairie test with a 8-13 record.
The Sabers now own a 9-10 record. They play next when they travel to Watseka for a non-league test on Saturday, January 20. St. Thomas More will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 47-46 non-league win over Manteno (Manteno, IL). The Warriors record now stands at 19-1.
