The crowd at Monday's non-league test between the Casteel Colts (Queen Creek, AZ) and the visiting Basha Bears (Chandler, AZ), saw Casteel's soccer squad knock off Basha by a margin of 2-0.

The Colts now sport a 10-1 record. They play next when they travel to Williams Field for a 5A San Tan test on Thursday, January 18. Casteel will meet a Black Hawks squad coming off a 11-0 non-league win over La Joya Community (Avondale, AZ). The Black Hawks record now stands at 5-6.

With the loss, Basha drops to 12-1 on the season. The Bears host Xavier College Prep (Phoenix, AZ) to meet the Gators in a 6A Premier test on Wednesday, January 17. The Gators come into the test with a record of 5-0. Xavier College Prep won 8-0 in their recent non-league test against Alhambra (Phoenix, AZ)
