With the win, Chewelah upgrades its record to 8-8 on the season. The Cougars travel to Wellpinit (Wellpinit, WA) to clash with the Redskins in a non-league bout on Monday, January 15. The Redskins go into the bout with a record of 9-1. Wellpinit won 62-40 in their recent non-league bout against Almira-Coulee-Hartline (Coulee City, WA)

Next up, the Panthers clash with the Newport Grizzlies (Newport, WA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 15. Cusick will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record. The Grizzlies go into the bout with a 8-3 record after their 49-16 non-league loss to Bonners Ferry (Bonners Ferry, ID).
