Providence Pioneers (Burbank, CA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Cleveland Cavaliers (Reseda, CA), 54-47 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Providence upgrades its record to 4-3 on the season.

Next up, the Cavaliers play the Granada Hills Charter Highlanders (Granada Hills, CA) in a bout, on Wednesday, January 17. Cleveland will attempt to upgrade on its 4-8 season record. The Highlanders go into the bout with a 3-1 record after their 67-50 league win over Chatsworth (Chatsworth, CA).
