Sandy Creek Patriots (Tyrone, GA) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host McEachern Indians (Powder Springs, GA), 48-37 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Sandy Creek upgrades its record to 13-0 on the campaign. The Patriots host North Clayton (College Park, GA) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 17. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 8-4. North Clayton won 51-46 in their recent non-league bout against Starr's Mill (Fayetteville, GA)

Next up, the Indians play the Villa Rica Wildcats (Villa Rica, GA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 15. McEachern will attempt to upgrade on its 10-2 season record. The Wildcats come into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 48-39 league loss to Chapel Hill (Douglasville, GA).
