The Asheville School (Independent) Blues basketball team scored 83 points and limited the host York Prep Patriots to 53 in the Blues non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Blues now possess a 10-3 record. They play next when they travel to Christ School for a NCISAA Carolinas match on Friday, January 17. Asheville School (Independent) will face a Greenies squad coming off a 79-55 league win over Rabun Gap-Nacoochee (Rabun Gap, GA). The Greenies record now stands at 15-0.
