The crowd at Wednesday's league challenge between the Bellefonte Raiders (Bellefonte, PA) and the host Bald Eagle Area Eagles (Wingate, PA), observed Bellefonte's basketball team knock off Bald Eagle Area by a score of 47-31.

The Raiders (2-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Westmont Hilltop (Johnstown, PA). The Hilltoppers come into the Laurel Highlands challenge with a 11-2 record. In their last challenge, Westmont Hilltop dropped by Greater Johnstown (Johnstown, PA), 61-49, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Eagles encounter the Somerset Eagles (Somerset, PA) in a Laurel Highlands challenge, on Friday, January 17. Bald Eagle Area will attempt to improve on its 3-10 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 1-13 record after their 64-56 league loss to Bishop Carroll (Ebensburg, PA).
