The crowd at Wednesday's league challenge between the Barrington Eagles (Barrington, RI) and the visiting Johnston Panthers (Johnston, RI), observed Barrington's basketball team overwhelm Johnston by a score of 93-46.
The Eagles (8-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Tolman (Pawtucket, RI). The Tigers come into the Division I challenge with a 5-5 record. In their last challenge, Tolman trounced Johnston (Johnston, RI), 55-48, in a league challenge.
Coming up next, the Panthers play the East Greenwich Avengers (East Greenwich, RI) in a Division II bout, on Tuesday, January 21. Johnston will attempt to move on its 0-11 season record. The Avengers go into the bout with a 3-9 record after their 58-49 league loss to Moses Brown (Providence, RI).
