The crowd at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Canton Little Giants (Canton, IL) and the visiting Farmington Farmers (Farmington, IL), observed Canton's basketball team knock off Farmington by a score of 51-43.

The Little Giants (8-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Limestone (Bartonville, IL). The Rockets come into the Mid-Illini challenge with a 7-10 record. In their last challenge, Limestone prevailed over Pekin (Pekin, IL), 48-46, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Farmers battle the Peoria Heights Patriots (Peoria Heights, IL) in a Prairieland challenge, on Tuesday, January 21. Farmington will attempt to improve on its 5-9 season record. The Patriots come into the challenge with a 7-10 record after their 60-47 non-league loss to Illini Bluffs (Glasford, IL).
