The Hardin County Tigers basketball team scored 71 points and limited the visiting Carroll Academy Jaguars to 40 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Tigers now have a 8-4 record. They play next when they travel to Lexington for a 3A District 12 game on Friday, January 17. Hardin County will confront a Tigers team coming off a 80-63 league loss to Jackson North Side (Jackson, TN). The Tigers record now stands at 9-8.

With the loss, Carroll Academy falls to 0-6 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to Hollow Rock-Bruceton Central (Bruceton, TN) to confront the Tigers in a non-league game on Wednesday, January 22. The Tigers go into the game with a record of 2-10.
