The Davenport Bulldogs basketball team scored 55 points and limited the visiting Mounds Golden Eagles to 53 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Bulldogs now possess a 8-4 record. They play next when they travel to Agra for a non-league game on Tuesday, January 21. Davenport will play a Bearcats team coming off a 64-40 non-league loss to Coyle (Coyle, OK). The Bearcats record now stands at 1-16.

With the loss, Mounds falls to 6-6 on the campaign. The Golden eagles host Summit Christian Academy (Broken Arrow, OK) to play the Eagles in a Frisco game on Friday, January 17. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 11-0. Summit Christian Academy won 84-29 in their recent non-league game against Haskell (Haskell, OK)
