The crowd at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Lyman Hall Trojans (Wallingford, CT) and the host Housatonic-Lakeview Mountaineers (Falls Village, CT), observed Lyman Hall's basketball team overcome Housatonic-Lakeview by a margin of 54-46.

The Trojans (3-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Foran (Milford, CT). The Lions come into the Southern Connecticut - Hammonasset challenge with a 6-3 record. In their last challenge, Foran defeated Shelton (Shelton, CT), 67-49, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Mountaineers battle the Nonnewaug Chiefs (Woodbury, CT) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 17. Housatonic-Lakeview will attempt to better on its 0-3 season record.
