In Wednesday's non-league contest, the visiting Portsmouth Christian Academy Eagles basketball team scored a big 66-37 triumph over the Sunapee Lakers.

The Eagles (7-3) will now prepare for their contest against Woodsville (Woodsville, NH). The Engineers go into the Division IV contest with a 12-0 record. In their last contest, Woodsville smashed Moultonborough Academy (Moultonborough, NH), 48-42, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Lakers confront the Gorham Huskies (Gorham, NH) in a Division IV battle, on Friday, January 17. Sunapee will attempt to advance on its 0-10 season record. The Huskies enter the battle with a 4-6 record after their 58-40 league loss to Groveton (Groveton, NH).
