The Broad Run Spartans basketball squad (Ashburn, VA), lost 52-37 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host Loudoun Valley Vikings (Purcellville, VA)
With the victory, Loudoun Valley advances its record to 6-2 on the year. The Vikings travel to Heritage (Leesburg, VA) to meet the Pride in a non-league battle on Friday, January 17. The Pride enter the battle with a record of 0-1. Heritage lost 34-32 in their recent non-league battle against Woodgrove (Purcellville, VA)
The Spartans now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to John Champe for a battle on Wednesday, January 22. Broad Run will meet a Knights squad coming off a 69-19 league win over Park View (Sterling, VA). The Knights record now stands at 5-5.
