Monte Vista Mustangs (Danville, CA) backers exited the stadium pleased Wednesday as they witnessed their soccer team beat the host Granada Matadors (Livermore, CA), 4-0 in a league test.

With the triumph, Monte Vista advances its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Dougherty Valley (San Ramon, CA) to clash with the Wildcats in a test on Wednesday, January 29. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 2-6.

The Matadors now have a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they host Amador Valley for a test on Friday, January 17. Granada will clash with a Dons team coming off a 2-2 non-league Freedom (Oakley, CA). The Dons record now stands at 3-2.
