Indiana High School Basketball - Bowman Academy held off by Andrean

January 15, 2025: Gary, IN 46406

In Wednesday's non-league test, the Andrean Fighting 59ers (Merrillville, IN) basketball squad got by the host Bowman Academy Eagles (Gary, IN), by a score of 49-45.

Next, the Fighting 59ers encounter the Valparaiso Vikings (Valparaiso, IN) in a non-league test, on Saturday, January 18. Andrean will attempt to improve on its 11-9 season record. The Vikings come into the test with a 11-7 record after their 72-45 non-league win over Harrison (West Lafayette, IN).

The Eagles (6-9) will now prepare for their test against South Bend Career Academy (South Bend, IN). The Trailblazers come into the non-league test with a 4-8 record. In their last test, South Bend Career Academy held off Michiana Christian Home Educators (South Bend, IN), 44-41, in a non-league test.
