Ohio High School Basketball - Villa Angela-St. Joseph overwhelms Andrews Osborne Academy

The Villa Angela-St. Joseph Vikings basketball team scored 53 points and limited the host Andrews Osborne Academy Phoenix to 27 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Vikings now have a 9-7 record. They play next when they travel to Richmond Heights for a non-league game on Sunday, January 19. Villa Angela-St. Joseph will confront a Spartans team coming off a 52-39 league loss to Perry (Perry, OH). The Spartans record now stands at 9-5.

With the loss, Andrews Osborne Academy falls to 2-4 on the campaign. The Phoenix host Medina Christian Academy (Medina, OH) to confront the Knights in a non-league game on Friday, January 17. The Knights go into the game with a record of 4-5. Medina Christian Academy won 48-34 in their recent non-league game against Rittman (Rittman, OH)
