Maryland High School Basketball - Chopticon holds off McDonough

The Chopticon Braves basketball team scored 55 points and limited the host McDonough Rams to 53 in the Braves league triumph on Wednesday.
The Braves now possess a 4-6 record. They play next when they travel to Thomas Stone for a Southern Maryland game on Friday, January 17. Chopticon will confront a Cougars team coming off a 48-37 league loss to Huntingtown (Huntingtown, MD). The Cougars record now stands at 4-5.
With the loss, McDonough falls to 3-7 on the campaign. The Rams host Patuxent (Lusby, MD) to confront the Panthers in a Southern Maryland game on Friday, January 17. The Panthers go into the game with a record of 3-4. Patuxent lost 49-45 in their recent league game against Chopticon (Morganza, MD)
