The Mountain View Mountain Lions bounced the visiting Gila Ridge Hawks basketball squad by a final score of 53-32 in Wednesday's non-league outing.

Next, the Mountain Lions face the Casa Grande Cougars (Casa Grande, AZ) in a 5A Sonoran outing, on Friday, January 17. Mountain View will attempt to upgrade on its 3-13 season record. The Cougars enter the outing with a 3-10 record after their 69-20 non-league loss to Sunnyside (Tucson, AZ).

The Hawks (4-11) will now prepare for their outing against Yuma (Yuma, AZ). The Criminals enter the non-league outing with a 6-3 record. In their last outing, Yuma was overwhelmed by Dysart (El Mirage, AZ), 55-38, in a league outing.
