Arizona High School Basketball - Mountain Pointe bests Maricopa

January 15, 2025: Phoenix, AZ 85044

The Mountain Pointe Pride (Phoenix, AZ) basketball toppled the visiting Maricopa Rams (Maricopa, AZ), 57-41 in Wednesday's non-league bout.

The Pride now possess a 4-12 record. They play next when they travel to Desert Mountain for a 5A East Sky bout on Friday, January 17. Mountain Pointe will play a Wolves team coming off a 52-24 non-league win over Centennial (Peoria, AZ). The Wolves record now stands at 6-9.

With the loss, Maricopa falls to 2-12 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Catalina Foothills (Tucson, AZ) to play the Falcons in a 5A Sonoran bout on Friday, January 17. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 10-4. Catalina Foothills won 53-31 in their recent non-league bout against Flowing Wells (Tucson, AZ)
