The crowd at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the St. Charles East Fighting Saints (St. Charles, IL) and the host Oswego Panthers (Oswego, IL), observed St. Charles East's basketball team overwhelm Oswego by a score of 57-33.

The Fighting Saints (15-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Wheaton-Warrenville South (Wheaton, IL). The Tigers come into the DuKane challenge with a 12-8 record. In their last challenge, Wheaton-Warrenville South trounced Metea Valley (Aurora, IL), 40-34, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Panthers encounter the Plainfield South Cougars (Plainfield, IL) in a SouthWest Prairie - East challenge, on Friday, January 17. Oswego will attempt to improve on its 9-10 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 8-11 record after their 69-58 league loss to Yorkville (Yorkville, IL).
