Michigan High School Ice Hockey - Pioneer gets by Northwest

In Wednesday's non-league contest, the visiting Pioneer Pioneers ice hockey team scored a close 4-2 triumph over the Northwest Mounties.
The Pioneers (9-7) will now prepare for their contest against Grosse Ile (Grosse Ile, MI). The Red Devils enter the non-league game with a 9-4 record. In their last game, Grosse Ile nipped Allen Park (Allen Park, MI), 4-2, in a non-league game.
The Mounties now possess a 5-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dexter for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 18. Northwest will play a Dreadnaughts team coming off a 7-1 non-league win over Cadillac (Cadillac, MI). The Dreadnaughts record now stands at 13-1.
