Maryland High School Basketball - St. Charles holds off Great Mills

The St. Charles basketball team scored 43 points and limited the visiting Great Mills Hornets to 40 in the league triumph on Wednesday.
The now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Chopticon for a game on Wednesday, January 22.
With the loss, Great Mills falls to 5-2 on the campaign. The Hornets host Northern (Owings, MD) to confront the Patriots in a non-league game on Friday, January 17. The Patriots go into the game with a record of 1-3. Northern lost 66-42 in their recent non-league game against Lackey (Indian Head, MD)
