The Notre Dame Prep Saints basketball team scored 53 points and limited the host Sunrise Mountain Mustangs to 40 in the Saints non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Saints now possess a 8-2 record. They play next when they travel to Chaparral for a game on Friday, January 17.

With the loss, Sunrise Mountain falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Willow Canyon (Surprise, AZ) to play the Wildcats in a game on Tuesday, January 21. The Wildcats go into the game with a record of 11-1. Willow Canyon won 73-52 in their recent league game against Kellis (Glendale, AZ)
