St. Michael the Archangel Warriors (Fredericksburg, VA) supporters left the game happy Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host The Carmel School Wildcats (Ruther Glen, VA), 63-27 in a non-league match.
With the victory, St. Michael the Archangel advances its record to 1-2 on the year. The Warriors travel to Blue Ridge (St. George, VA) to meet the Barons in a non-league match on Wednesday, January 22. The Barons enter the match with a record of 5-1.
The Wildcats now own a 0-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Grove Christian School for a match on Friday, January 17. The Carmel School will meet a Falcons squad coming off a 61-17 league loss to Richmond Christian (Chesterfield, VA). The Falcons record now stands at 1-6.
