LaGrange Gators (Lake Charles, LA) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Acadiana Rams (Lafayette, LA), 79-67 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, LaGrange upgrades its record to 10-11 on the campaign. The Gators host Fairview (Grant, LA) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Monday, January 16. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 22-4. Fairview lost 67-63 in their recent non-league bout against North Central (Lebeau, LA)

Next up, the Rams play the Crowley Gent (Crowley, LA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Acadiana will attempt to upgrade on its 2-16 season record. The Gent come into the bout with a 7-4 record after their 77-43 league loss to Abbeville (Abbeville, LA).
