Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Hot Springs Bison (Hot Springs, SD) and the host Belle Fourche Broncs (Belle Fourche, SD), saw Hot Springs's basketball squad hold off Belle Fourche by a tally of 55-51.
With the victory, Hot Springs improves its record to 9-0 on the campaign. The Bison host Lead-Deadwood (Lead, SD) to confront the Golddiggers in a A Region 8 challenge on Saturday, January 21. The Golddiggers come into the challenge with a record of 3-7.
Next up, the Broncs confront the Hill City Rangers (Hill City, SD) in a A Region 8 challenge, on Tuesday, January 17. Belle Fourche will attempt to improve on its 5-3 season record. The Rangers come into the challenge with a 5-2 record after their 66-24 non-league win over Sundance (Sundance, WY).
