South Dakota High School Basketball - Viborg/Hurley can't hold off Bridgewater/Emery

The Bridgewater/Emery Huskies basketball squad scored 60 points and limited the visiting Viborg/Hurley Cougars to 57 in the Huskies non-league win on Monday.

With the win, Bridgewater/Emery upgrades its record to 6-3 on the season. The Huskies travel to Howard (Howard, SD) to play the Tigers in a B Region 3 bout on Thursday, January 19. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 5-3. Howard won 58-47 in their recent non-league bout against Hanson (Alexandria, SD)

Next up, the Cougars play the Avon Pirates (Avon, SD) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Viborg/Hurley will attempt to upgrade on its 6-2 season record. The Pirates go into the bout with a 0-6 record after their 43-35 non-league loss to Kimball/White Lake (Kimball, SD).
