The Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart Mustangs (Hector, MN) basketball knocked off the host Sibley East Wolverines (Arlington, MN), 75-63 in Monday's non-league test.
The Mustangs (3-8) will now prepare for their test against Sleepy Eye (Sleepy Eye, MN). The Indians go into the A Section 2 test with a 4-6 record. In their last test, Sleepy Eye went down by Minnesota Valley Lutheran (New Ulm, MN), 64-23, in a league test.
The Wolverines now own a 4-10 record. They play next when they host Central for a AA Section 2 test on Thursday, January 19. Sibley East will encounter a Raiders squad coming off a 85-81 non-league win over New Ulm (New Ulm, MN). The Raiders record now stands at 10-2.
