California High School Basketball - Burroughs knocked off by Schurr

The Schurr Spartans basketball team scored 63 points and held the host Burroughs Bears to 54 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Monday.
The Spartans now sport a 13-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bell Gardens for a Almont contest on Tuesday, January 17. Schurr will battle a Lancers team coming off a 71-32 league loss to Mark Keppel (Alhambra, CA). The Lancers record now stands at 4-16.
The Bears (8-14) will now prepare for their contest against Hoover (Glendale, CA). The Tornados enter the Pacific contest with a 5-14 record. In their last contest, Hoover was defeated by Glendale (Glendale, CA), 70-67, in a league contest.
