    • Ohio High School Basketball - Cathedral nudges Pickerington Central

    January 16, 2023: Pickerington, OH 43147

    In Monday's non-league outing, the Cathedral Fighting Irish (Indianapolis, IN) basketball squad edged the host Pickerington Central Tigers (Pickerington, OH), by a margin of 65-61.

    The Fighting Irish (10-2) will now prepare for their outing against Purdue Polytechnic (Indianapolis, IN). The Techies go into the non-league outing with a 14-5 record. In their last outing, Purdue Polytechnic held off Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter (Indianapolis, IN), 68-57, in a non-league outing.

    The Tigers now own a 10-5 record. They play next when they host Newark for a Ohio Capital - Buckeye outing on Friday, January 20. Pickerington Central will clash with a Wildcats squad coming off a 50-48 non-league win over Trotwood-Madison (Trotwood, OH). The Wildcats record now stands at 12-3.
