The North Mahaska Warhawks (New Sharon, IA) basketball felled the host Chariton Chargers (Chariton, IA), 84-68 in Monday's non-league test.
The Warhawks (11-2) will now prepare for their test against Colfax-Mingo (Colfax, IA). The Tigerhawks go into the South Iowa Cedar test with a 0-10 record. In their last test, Colfax-Mingo was beaten by West Central Valley (Stuart, IA), 64-48, in a non-league test.
The Chargers now own a 1-8 record. They play next when they travel to Centerville for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 17.
