Connecticut High School Basketball - Glastonbury topped by Cheney RVT

The Cheney RVT Beavers basketball team scored 53 points and restricted the host Glastonbury Guardians to 45 in the Beavers non-league victory on Monday.

The Beavers now sport a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Harvard Ellis Tech for a Freelance contest on Tuesday, January 17. Cheney RVT will battle a Eagles team coming off a 70-60 non-league loss to Norwich RVT (Norwich, CT). The Eagles record now stands at 3-8.

The Guardians (7-3) will now prepare for their contest against Bristol Eastern (Bristol, CT). The Lancers come into the non-league contest with a 6-2 record. In their last contest, Bristol Eastern was defeated by Platt (Meriden, CT), 65-42, in a non-league contest.
