Georgia High School Basketball - Forest Park ripped by Cherokee

The Cherokee Warriors basketball team scored 78 points and held the host Forest Park Panthers to 41 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Monday.
The Warriors now sport a 15-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kennesaw Mountain for a AAAAAAA Region 5 contest on Tuesday, January 17. Cherokee will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 52-45 non-league win over Harrison (Kennesaw, GA). The Mustangs record now stands at 11-6.
The Panthers (5-13) will now prepare for their contest against Rockdale County (Conyers, GA). The Bulldogs enter the AAAAAA Region 3 contest with a 9-8 record. In their last contest, Rockdale County triumphed over New Faith Christian Academy (Stockbridge, GA), 59-52, in a non-league contest.
