Colome Cowboys (Colome, SD) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Cody-Kilgore Cowboys/Cowgirls (Cody, NE), 64-48 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Colome upgrades its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Cowboys travel to Jones County (Murdo, SD) to play the Coyotes in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Coyotes come into the bout with a record of 4-5. Jones County won 63-54 in their recent non-league bout against Colome (Colome, SD)

Next up, the Cowboys/Cowgirls play the Crawford Rams (Crawford, NE) in a D2 District 12 bout, on Friday, February 3. Cody-Kilgore will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record.
