The Hillcrest Hawks topped the host Curie Condors basketball team by a final score of 68-60 in Monday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Hawks face the Lemont Lemont HS (Lemont, IL) in a South Suburban game, on Tuesday, January 17. Hillcrest will attempt to move on its 18-2 season record. The Lemont HS enter the game with a 13-4 record after their 63-48 non-league loss to Boylan Catholic (Rockford, IL).
With the defeat, Curie moves to 13-6 on the year. The Condors host Hyde Park (Chicago, IL) to face the Thunderbirds in a Chicago Public - Red South game on Tuesday, January 17. The Thunderbirds enter the game with a record of 16-3. Hyde Park won 80-69 in their recent non-league game against Lincoln Park (Chicago, IL)
