The Darlington Redbirds (Darlington, WI) basketball felled the visiting Royall Panthers (Elroy, WI), 61-49 in Monday's non-league test.
The Redbirds (13-2) will now prepare for their test against Fennimore (Fennimore, WI). The Golden Eagles go into the Southwest Wisconsin Activities test with a 8-5 record. In their last test, Fennimore was beaten by Cuba City (Cuba City, WI), 79-56, in a league test.
The Panthers now own a 10-2 record. They play next when they travel to Hillsboro for a Scenic Bluffs test on Thursday, January 19. Royall will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 73-42 non-league win over La Farge (La Farge, WI). The Tigers record now stands at 12-3.
