Denmark (Alpharetta, GA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host W D Mohammed Caliphs (Atlanta, GA), 87-64 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Denmark upgrades its record to 11-7 on the season. The travel to Lambert (Suwanee, GA) to play the Longhorns in a AAAAAAA Region 6 bout on Friday, January 20. The Longhorns go into the bout with a record of 12-7. Lambert lost 72-61 in their recent non-league bout against Dutchtown (Hampton, GA)

Next up, the Caliphs play the Fulton Leadership Academy Gryphons (East Point, GA) in a A D2 Region 7B bout, on Tuesday, January 17. W D Mohammed will attempt to upgrade on its 4-7 season record. The Gryphons go into the bout with a 5-6 record after their 70-68 non-league win over East Coweta (Sharpsburg, GA).
