With the win, Englewood Stem upgrades its record to 10-7 on the season. The Panthers host King (Chicago, IL) to play the Jaguars in a Chicago Public - White Central bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Jaguars go into the bout with a record of 10-9. King won 59-55 in their recent non-league bout against Bowen (Chicago, IL)

Next up, the Blue Demons play the Deerfield Warriors (Deerfield, IL) in a Central Suburban - North bout, on Friday, January 20. Maine East will attempt to upgrade on its 12-8 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 14-5 record after their 61-50 non-league loss to Lake Forest (Lake Forest, IL).
