The Episcopal Knights (Baton Rouge, LA) basketball nipped the visiting Teurlings Catholic Rebels (Lafayette, LA), 44-43 in Monday's non-league test.
The Knights (11-9) will now prepare for their test against Port Allen (Port Allen, LA). The Pelicans go into the non-league test with a 17-1 record. In their last test, Port Allen got by Carver Collegiate Academy (New Orleans, LA), 64-58, in a non-league test.
The Rebels now own a 9-9 record. They play next when they travel to Mamou for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 17. Teurlings Catholic will encounter a Demons squad coming off a 73-46 non-league loss to Pickering (Leesville, LA). The Demons record now stands at 8-8.
