With the victory, Jonesboro upgrades its record to 16-3 on the campaign. The Hurricane host Little Rock Southwest (Little Rock, AR) to play the Gryphons in a Freelance challenge on Friday, January 20. The Gryphons come into the challenge with a record of 1-9. Little Rock Southwest lost 77-65 in their recent league challenge against Bryant (Bryant, AR)

Next up, the Crusaders play the Northpoint Christian Trojans (Southaven, MS) in a Division II-A West District 6 challenge, on Tuesday, January 17. First Assembly Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 11-4 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 4-9 record after their 74-63 league loss to Lausanne Collegiate (Memphis, TN).
