Illinois High School Basketball - Highland Park ripped by Lakes

The Lakes Eagles basketball team scored 41 points and held the visiting Highland Park Giants to 14 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Monday.
The Eagles now sport a 12-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Grayslake North for a Northern Lake County contest on Wednesday, January 18. Lakes will meet a Knights team coming off a 81-40 non-league loss to Glenbrook North (Northbrook, IL). The Knights record now stands at 8-10.
The Giants (4-16) will now prepare for their contest against Niles North (Skokie, IL). The Vikings enter the Central Suburban - North contest with a 15-4 record. In their last contest, Niles North triumphed over Lake View (Chicago, IL), 86-57, in a non-league contest.
