The Sterling Golden Warriors (Sterling, IL) basketball crushed the visiting Hinsdale South Hornets (Darien, IL), 81-54 in Monday's non-league test.
The Golden Warriors (16-5) will now prepare for their test against Alleman (Rock Island, IL). The Pioneers go into the Western Big 6 test with a 6-14 record. In their last test, Alleman walloped Quad Cities Christian (Moline, IL), 57-39, in a non-league test.
The Hornets now own a 6-14 record. They play next when they host Willowbrook for a West Suburban - Gold test on Tuesday, January 17. Hinsdale South will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 77-69 league loss to Proviso East (Maywood, IL). The Warriors record now stands at 3-11.
