Lima Senior Spartans (Lima, OH) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Springboro Panthers (Springboro, OH), 64-29 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Lima Senior upgrades its record to 7-4 on the season. The Spartans host Lima Central Catholic (Lima, OH) to clash with the Thunderbirds in a Freelance bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Thunderbirds go into the bout with a record of 5-6. Lima Central Catholic won 56-46 in their recent non-league bout against Elida (Elida, OH)

Next up, the Panthers clash with the Badin Rams (Hamilton, OH) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Springboro will attempt to upgrade on its 5-7 season record. The Rams go into the bout with a 1-11 record after their 45-40 non-league loss to Roger Bacon (Cincinnati, OH).
