In Monday's non-league bout, the Lower Lake Trojans (Lower Lake, CA) basketball squad walloped the host Upper Lake Cougars (Upper Lake, CA), by a count of 80-29.

With the victory, Lower Lake upgrades its record to 8-8 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to St. Helena (St. Helena, CA) to play the Saints in a North Central I bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Saints come into the bout with a record of 9-7. St. Helena lost 73-59 in their recent non-league bout against San Domenico (San Anselmo, CA)

Next up, the Cougars play the Calistoga Wildcats (Calistoga, CA) in a North Central II bout, on Friday, January 20. Upper Lake will attempt to upgrade on its 5-10 season record. The Wildcats come into the bout with a 8-5 record after their 48-35 league loss to Credo (Rohnert Park, CA).
