The Martin County West Mavericks basketball team scored 80 points and held the host St. James Saints to 75 in the Mavericks non-league triumph on Monday.
The Mavericks now sport a 8-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Nicollet for a A Section 2 contest on Thursday, January 19. Martin County West will meet a Raiders team coming off a 64-42 league loss to New Ulm Cathedral (New Ulm, MN). The Raiders record now stands at 0-10.
The Saints (4-7) will now prepare for their contest against Edgerton (Edgerton, MN). The Flying Dutchmen enter the non-league contest with a 1-6 record.
