Minnesota High School Basketball - New Ulm Cathedral trounces Nicollet

January 16, 2023: New Ulm, MN 56073

The New Ulm Cathedral Greyhounds (New Ulm, MN) basketball crushed the visiting Nicollet Raiders (Nicollet, MN), 64-42 in Monday's league test.

The Greyhounds (4-7) will now prepare for their test against St. Mary's (Sleepy Eye, MN). The Knights go into the A Section 2 test with a 9-3 record. In their last test, St. Mary's was trounced by Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop (Winthrop, MN), 65-58, in a league test.

The Raiders now own a 0-10 record. They play next when they travel to Martin County West for a A Section 2 test on Thursday, January 19. Nicollet will encounter a Mavericks squad coming off a 80-75 non-league win over St. James (St. James, MN). The Mavericks record now stands at 8-7.
