With the victory, Norcross upgrades its record to 15-2 on the campaign. The Blue Devils travel to Meadowcreek (Norcross, GA) to play the Mustangs in a AAAAAAA Region 7 challenge on Tuesday, January 17. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 6-11. Meadowcreek lost 54-40 in their recent league challenge against North Gwinnett (Suwanee, GA)

Next up, the Warriors play the Montevallo Bulldogs (Montevallo, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 17. Thompson will attempt to upgrade on its 12-10 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 14-5 record after their 48-42 league win over West Blocton (West Blocton, AL).
